We provide a heading naming when a user inserts a TOC, so it would also be good if we provide a simple dialog asking if the user wishes to add a name above the list of endnotes during the process that it creates the endnote page, as i wasnt able to do it from the testing that i tried. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

I will resubmit it after "fixing" missing numbering. I use Heading 3 style and set Tools Outline Numbering to 1,2,3,4 and ) (") ") after. I change lines to Heading 3 with 3. As I add more Heading 3s they are correctly numbered. I then save and close the document (it has to be closed). When I reopen, everything looks OK. If I add another Heading 3 line, it is not numbered. If I go to Tools Outline Numbering, it has been reset to the defaults. If I set it back to 1,2,3,4 and ) (") ") after, my "new" Heading 3 line is numbered correctly, but now all the previously numbered now show (for example) 1) 1) This is a heading, 2) 2) This is another heading. I have discovered a workaround: I turn off number through Tools Outline Numbering before closing it, at least that way I do not have to manually delete the extra 1), 2), etc. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 89154] EDITING: Ctrl+Right key - cursor doesn't stop at the end of the line, jumps to next paragraph
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=89154 V Stuart Foote changed: What|Removed |Added CC||vstuart.fo...@utsa.edu --- Comment #15 from V Stuart Foote --- Hmmm, Not so sure about all this, since + or + are advancing at word boundaries/white space. Their behavior actually is correct when moving across the Paragraph marker and into the next paragraph. But a look at the Wiki help for LO Writer shortcut keys https://help.libreoffice.org/Writer/Shortcut_Keys_for_Writer suggests better alternatives. The key is listed as "Go to end of line" and positions cursor directly to the end of current line--isn't that the behavior OP is seeking. Accordingly IMHO I see no reason to change this behavior. As an aside... Also, while + is listed as "Move cursor to end of paragraph", that may never have been correct, or seems to have been changed at some point prior to the LO 3.3.0 release. That shortcut will actually move cursor directly the start of the next paragraph. Matching behavior + which is listed as, and performs, a "Move cursor to beginning of the previous paragraph". So guess at some point behavior of the + could have been changed to match that. Interesting in that ++ will select text up to the end of paragraph. And for what it is worth, the current LO shortcut behaviors are exactly the same in Word 2013 on Windows 7. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 87672] Moving Impress view tabs to slide pane
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=87672 --- Comment #11 from Jay Philips --- (In reply to Cor Nouws from comment #9) > How is hand out view associate with slide master? When you are in hand out view and you open the slide pane, it shows you the slide masters in it, and that is likely why the pane was hidden. In Powerpoint and IBM Symphony handout view is categorized together with master slide view. > I did not write it wastes space in hand out view. Okay. > And you say 4% / 46px is a big waste in your earlier comment #2. > I don't understand this. When you work with slide decks of over 20, 30 > slides, you need a lot of space. It would be a waste for users who never use the tabs. In slide sorter view, i can easily click and hide the slide pane and sidebar if i need more room, but there is no means of hiding the view tabs. > Yes, that is the problem I described. By moving the view tabs to the side > pane, we push handouts in master view, which hides them, and we waste > enormous space in the slide sorter by showing a useless pane. I was placing handouts in master view for better organization, but that doesnt mean its not accessible easily accessible from the View menu. I'm only trying to stay consistent with the UI across all the views, but that doesnt stop a user from disabling the slide pane in slide sorter, just like how its possible for me to enable it now. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
