[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 93719] MAILMERGE: Freezes On Step 5: Adjust Layout in OS X Or Does Not Show Preview on Windows 7
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=93719 --- Comment #1 from Kay Wrobel kay.wro...@gmx.net --- I would like to add that I have tested LibreOffice 4.4.5 on the same OS X Yosemite and Windows 7 computers, and the Wizard does not hang on Step 5 and shows a mostly white preview frame in the right side of the right panel, representing a page and showing the location of the Address block and where the salutation would go on the page. That is the expected behavior. There is a possibility that this bug is a duplicate of bug #65743 (https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=65743) for LibreOffice 4.4.0, which has been flagged as verified and fixed for LibreOffice 4.4.1. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=35563 --- Comment #7 from Melroy van den Berg webmaster1...@gmail.com --- (In reply to sasha.libreoffice from comment #2) I agree that it is useful. In Impress text is only inside of text frames. And images are separate objects. We can not insert image into text frame, it always remains standalone. It is especially important when using formulas as pictures inside of text. Each change of font (usually different comps has slightly different fonts) renders to corrupted slide. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 92710] Right-to-Left direction for Arabic is not working
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=92710 --- Comment #21 from Mohammed Rahawi rah...@aol.com --- (In reply to Maxim Monastirsky from comment #20) One thing that I noticed while watching the video, is that the status bar says Hindi (which is, according to Wikipedia, written LTR). So the first thing I would try is to open Tools-Options...-Language Settings-Languages, and set Arabic for Complex text layout (CTL). And also under LibreOffice Writer-Basic Fonts (CTL), make sure that the default fonts are ones that support Arabic. I think that this is the problem. It doesn't change to Arabic from Hindi. When I set the Language Settings and check the complex text layout(CTL), it shows Hindi as the default language. I Changed it to Arabic (Algeria). But in the status bar it still says Hindi. I checked again the Options...-Language Settings-Languages, it say A: Arabic (Algeria). This might give a clue to the root of bug. It does change the language. But keep the default language. See demo attachment for reproducing. 2. There are two defining characteristics of Form1: a.) it has an entry in the Filter property for MainForm and b.) it has a date/time field. 3. Open Form1 4. Navigate beyond the last row of data in Form1 to the Insert Row. 5. Type Something in the bottom-most field (a text field) 6. Press the save record button or navigate back to the first row UNEXPECTED RESULT: the date field at the top has gone from the desired NULL/EMPTY input to a zero date which in this case is 1/1/1800. Alternately, you can reproduce using the macro saved in the database which does the same thing, basically. The 0-date 1/1/1800 is persistent in the Form1 recordset until it is closed (no matter if you navigate to other records) but it is not saved to the table. The workaround is to delete the filter on the form. If necessary, I'd be prepared to file an RFE as generalisation: We have seen some bug reports stating that edit mode shows this and that, but in presentation mode respectively PDF export, nothing was visible. While the test cases until now might have been 'resolved', it is unforgivable, so to say, that PDF export or presentation(s) do not show elements visible in edit. In a nutshell: The rendering engines ought better be unified, to either. Nothing worse than a presentation well done and looking good, but being empty when shown. It must not be necessary to double-check each and every slide, addition and modification in presentation mode to make sure. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
