Hi Julian, here a workaround. Unfortunately it is not stable and will fall back to default, if you use filter or change data. A Pie-chart can only show one data series. Here it uses that data series, which is the outer-one in a Donut-chart. So for to get "sum" into the Pie-chart, mark all three columns: type, quantity and sum, and generate a Donut-chart or switch the chart type to Donut-chart in case of an existing chart. Activate the chart for editing. As default "quantity" is the outer one, "sum" is the inner one. Enable Data labels with number and category to verify it. Click on the inner series and then use menu Format item Arrangement and "Bring Forward". Now "sum" should be outer and "quantity" inner ring. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=113021 --- Comment #4 from R. Bingham --- Except that there *can be* different user-perceptible behavior depending on the combo of OpenGL use state and graphics sub-system for a given display. See bug 112958 for an example - different video presentation behavior when using OpenGL and dragging the *playing video* from one display/graphics stack to another and back. I agree that the probability of different behavior is low between among CPU embedded graphics sub-systems (Intel vs. AMD vs. whatever). But as soon as there is an external GPU graphics sub-system in the mix that is in effect an independent stack typically driving dedicated displays, user-perceptible LO behavior can be broken *differently*. Its the usual and annoying platform fragmentation the app developers have had to deal with since forever. Probably the player's Repeat (Loop) function *is* broken in a universal way but I am cautious in preemptively ruling out the various graphics stacks as breaking it in different ways after experiencing bug 112958. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=94363 --- Comment #6 from Tom --- Buovjaga, I appreciate the excellent work of the Document Foundation and its development team to provide and continuously improve the LibreOffice suite. In fact, I use LibreOffice very often. This is the reason, why I have already donated to LibreOffice and plan donations also in the future. This is also the reason, why I report issues that I consider to be significant and generally beneficial to the entire LO community. Bugzilla used by the Document Foundation is an effective tool to systematically report and track all issues of LO. I understand that especially the users of LO are responsible to clearly report any new issue so that it can be reproduced and fixed by the development team. Likewise, I expect the development team to be responsible to comment any issue that has been discarded or fixed and close these issues afterwards. However, a 25% rate of silently fixed issues suggests that the second part of the tracking process is not as effective as one would expect. I think, rather than asking the original reporters of any open issue that is older than a year to check, if the corresponding issue was resolved (by chance), it would be better to find out, why a significant rate of resolved issues is not tracked (i.e. is silently fixed). Given the root cause of this significant rate, there is the chance to make the entire bug tracking process more efficient. I don't think it is fair to compaare OpenGL to legacy GDI/GDI+ with all its warts. For more meaningful performance gains on Windows builds we would have to implement native DirectX 11 with Direct2D, DirectDraw even DirectCompute, and also support WDDM driver features. It would make the GUI more stable and perform better, but is way out of scope. Obviously that is not going to happen. https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=113467 --- Comment #6 from Jon R Kibler --- I should also add that this Mac has a large number of fonts (~850) installed. However, until recently, this has not been an issue, and all of these fonts have been installed since a previous Mac, at least 10 years go. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 113467] Random hangs -- multiple situations
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=113467 --- Comment #5 from Jon R Kibler --- For about a week now, I have been running with spelling and grammar checking as I type turned off. I have also reset my profile and tried running in safe mode. I have also ejected all network and externally attached drives, and I have set my Mac's internal drive to not sleep. I can say from this testing that turning off spelling and grammar checking seems to improve the performance, but that could also just be a coincidence, as I am still having serious problems with hangs. For example, I just created a new writer document. After using the menu to specify I wanted a new text document, it opened within a couple seconds, and as soon as I clicked in the document, I was able to type. However, after typing my header line and adding a couple blank lines below it, when I selected the header line and went to the toolbar to change the font size, as soon as I pulled down the font size menu, LO froze. It took about 30 seconds for it to again respond, and the response was to close the drop down menu. When I went to type the font size in the tool-bar box, it allowed me to type it, but as soon as I selected away from the tool-bar, it again froze, but this time for about 10 seconds. I'm open to additional testing suggestions. This moves us to always rendering to an off-screen texture, and then (at idle) blitting this to the screen & swapping buffers. Ideally we should never see any rendering, or flicker again with this approach. Several fixes are included: + avoid multiple OpenGL contexts being created for the same window, created excessive flicker problems. + de-virtualize UseContext - which context we use is less critical. + kill 'mbOffscreen' distinction - all VCL rendering is offscreen. + implement 'doFlush' and high priority idle flushing. + bind stencil buffer for clipping vs. textures - fixing complex clopping when rendering to virtual-devices, and off-screen. + document environment. variables. + use white as default background glClear color, but red or random color for DBGUTIL. This happens (in case of gallery crash) in GalleryBrowser1::ImplGalleryThemeProperties, where mpThemePropertiesDialog (referencing the previous gallery dialog) is reassigned to a newly created dialog, thus disposing previous one. The problems: 1. It shouldn't be possible to operate on detached tools, like with attached; so the reassignment wouldn't happen; 2. In that case, if we first checked for existence of the dialog, and possibly just returned the already existing instance, it would work. Or maybe add an assert that would express the invariant (that the mpThemePropertiesDialog must be empty before assignment). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
