I tested Cangjie input method（倉頡） on Windows 10 21H1, so it should be latest version, and it won't happen if switch IME to legacy version. These tests are on a fresh install, so I don't reset UserProfile. Some other users report that it will also happen on Chewing input method（注音） and Boshiamy input method（嘸蝦米）. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Writer/Calc/Impress 2. Switch IME to Changjie/Chewing/Boshiamy input method 3. Input some word roots, then press Spacebar, it will show some candidate words 4. It looks like that referenced component glyphs are allocated ids and referenced within the glyph (in the glyf) table, but the extra glyphs are never actually added to the font. For example, in the Charis subset in the PDF, glyph 1 is a compound glyph that references glyph 59. But there are only 59 glyphs in the font (0 through 58) and so there is no glyph 59 to be referenced. Looking at the code in vcl, the glyfAdd function (fontsubset/ttcr.cxx) does the job of adding glyphs and references to the list of glyphs. But the calling code in CreateT42FromTTGlyphs (fontsubset/sfnt.cxx) (or is it CreateTTFromTTGlyphs?) does nothing with this. It only iterates over the nGlyphs it starts with. My thinking is that what is needed is an initial recursive iteration over all the glyphs to identify which need to be included. This will update nGlyphs. As you could see, the red dot for the comment is right on top of the zero. This happens all the time. In case you were wondering, I didn't adjust the height of the rows, they are the default. If I do adjust the height of the rows, then the red dot moves above the letter or number in that cell accordingly, but seeing as the row is default size, I viewed that is an issue to bring up. This is what the dialog looks like on my system, with, as you can see, quite a difference in font size. This is the regular size of the text, and normal layout, and doesn't require a scroll bar. Of course the dialog should adapt to different system configurations as well, that's why the questions so far tried to establish how to produce the same results you see, to see how the bug can be consistently reproduced. I can find no help in the on line help and I cannot see any obvious choices to make what I am seeing look the way I think it should and the way it looks in Microsoft Office. I am saving the document as an Office 2003 type doc. I am using Libre version 6.4.3.2 and I have seen the same concerns with the current version 7. Observations: 1. Endnotes show up as footnotes but the position does not seem to relate to the page the note is referencing. 2. Changing the Footnote option to End of Document moves the endnotes but not to the end. 3. At the end of the document before the endnotes are displayed, I am getting several as in three or four blank pages that cannot be deleted. With show/hide ON, the pages are truly blank except for the page header which is showing page numbering. 4. When the end of document list starts to appear, it starts with the endnote number that is next in sequence after all the footnote displays. And then the line indicating the top of the end list is spaced down from the top of the page by a couple of inches. I have not measured it yet. 5. Sometimes when I right click on a stored endnote showing up as a footnote, all the notes shift to the end but observations 3 and 4 persist. 6. When the endnotes show up as footnotes, they do not appear to be on pages that have anything to do with the setting of the endnote flag.
