[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 148066] Warning dialog open above other window
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=148066 --- Comment #2 from Peter Hagen --- Tested this with Version: 7.5.3.2 (AARCH64) / LibreOffice Community Build: 956dff12ba03b9acd7730a5a... Unfortunately not complete fixed. Here is what happens (in a single screen setup) - I open a new ODT file on desktop 1 and save it to downloads - I'll send some ODT file by email to myself - I open my mailclient on desktop 2 - Then I'll open the ODT in the email - a blank screen appears on desktop 2 - the focus is moved to libreoffice on desktop 1 and the following dialog appears above file number 1 on the desktop 1 > The lock file could not be created for exclusive access by LibreOffice, due > to missing permission to create a lock file on that file location or lack of > free disk space. > > Select Notify to open read-only and get notified when the document becomes > editable. Notify - when I close or confirm the dialog, it stays on desktop 1, but the document opened on desktop2 I would expect the notification to open above the new blank screen, instead on the other desktops window -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

But yes, it is complicated by the LO-only Heading Numbering (aka chapter numbering, aka outline numbering) which specifically forbids inheritance from styles assigned to heading numbering. However, the importer could take that into consideration and "spam" a copy of the setting instead of trying to "inherit" it. (Oh, here it is: ReApplyInheritedOutlineLevelFromChapterNumbering) P.S. by enabling experimental settings, the paragraph style UI allows you to assign a list level, and then the level is applied along with the style. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

In the document was some code that had been indented using tabs. When the document is exported as HTML the code looses all its indentations. Steps to Reproduce: 1.Create a new text document. 2.Enter each word on their own line: One Two Three 3.Indent the "Two" text by pushing the tab key. 4.Go to File->Export. 5.Select XHTML under File Type. 6.Save the document. 7.Open the document using a web browser (I used Safari). Actual Results: The "Two" is not indented correctly. It looks like there is only a space between the left margin and the "Two". Expected Results: The "Two" text should be indented by the apparent size of the indent in the Writer document. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: No Additional Info: It looks like encoder does not consider tabs at all. Here is the code that was created: One Two (should be indented) Three The line "Two (should be indented)" has no code to even try to indent the text. I believe that tabs should be translated into the margin-left CSS attribute with a value that approximates the size of the tab in the writer document. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

The biggest glaring problem is that the nice looking rounded shape around the top-right cell is not supposed to be visible. The reason it is invisible is because it is wrapping around the floating table. [Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 155255] Unable to move bibliographic database
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=155255 --- Comment #3 from lostbits --- I thought that I'd put this in as a request for an enhancement, not as a bug. Sorry about the confusion. What is requested is that the DB used within the document be moved with the document when necessary. In this regard there are two cases: [1] A move on the same computer within the same user account, and {2] A move to a source external to the originating computer and user account. In [1] there is no change needed. That is, going from the same user to the same user allows access to the DB (if absolute paths are used). If absolute paths are not used, then the DB must be moved also or a path the the DB generated. In [2] a change is needed. Both absolute and relative paths are no longer valid. If on the same machine then there are security issues. If on different machinges (or the cloud), the DB is unavailable. The suggested solution, eg, manually moving the DB, will work providing the Data Source is changed appropriately. But, as an enhancement, it would be desirable for LO to do the suggested operations on the users behalf. If elected, this requires an augmented interface to include copy, move, rename of a given document, or the conversion of an external DB to an internal DB. The conversion is stated to be possible, so the issue disappears, but there does not seem to any mechanism to do this within (at least) Writer. The existing Bibliographic documentation provides no guidance on any of these matters, to wit, moving, copying, renaming the LO Writer document or changing an external DB to an internal one, nor is there any description of any of these. And to the point, my volunteering of documentation services has been silently rejected, hence, I have no means to contribute to this effort. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 155639] New: FORMATTING Calc, incoherent line drawing
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=155639 Bug ID: 155639 Summary: FORMATTING Calc, incoherent line drawing Product: LibreOffice Version: 7.5.3.2 release Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: p.kaeh...@posteo.de Created attachment 187648 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=187648&action=edit Different corner behaviour for lines. Cell borders (left) and diagram surrounding (right). Overview: Line drawings differs by the object they surround. Steps to reproduce: 1) Create new Calc sheet 2) Set to draw a border, e.g. "solid line", around some cells. Put line thickness to a fix value _A_ 3) Create diagram, content does not matter 4) Set to draw a border around the diagram, set same thickness _A_ Actual results: - The line around the diagram appears with rounded edges, while the cell surrounding appears with sharp edges. (Picture of screen view attached. Left is a frame around cells, right is a line drawing around a diagram. Same appearance stays true for printing/PDF export.) - By unit conversion of the line thickness, thereby rounding errors, the line thicknesses can slightly differ. Seems, cell lines use "pt", while diagram lines are using also internally the localised units. Expected Results: Coherent line formatting. As "no rounded edges" is predefined by cells, i would have expected to see same around diagrams / or to be able to switch corners around diagrams to "not rounded", to harmonise the appearance if desired. Reproducible: Always User Profile Reset: Yes Additional Info: same in Linux x64 and Windows x64, no platform dependency assumed. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

If I change the textbox font using the menus (under Format | Character... | Fonts tab) - the sidebar does still shows the Western language group font. > So in your case > property of text box and property of inside text is different, but sidebar > show font correctly? No. At least, I think not, since I don't quite understand which properties you're referring to. I'm not changing any fonts.
