[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 66329] EDITING: Crash on any attempt to use Paste Special
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=66329 --- Comment #5 from Keith M. --- Good news: Problem resolved. Bad news: Not entirely clear why, although the following may give a clue. To answer Julien's questions: I have Java 1.7.0_25 I Installed LibreOffice_4.0.3_Win_x86.msi, (downloaded 4 Jun 2013) then updated using LibreOffice_4.0.4_Win_x86.msi, (downloaded 27 June), then also installed LibreOffice_4.0.4_Win_x86_helppack_en-US.msi (also 27 June) problem occurs from first start of LO, thus:- Start LO Calc Type 1 in cell A1 Goto another cell (e.g. B2) Paste special (by any method) LO Crashes. Currently have OpenOffice.org 3.3 installed (though not frequently used). (OOO 3.3 does NOT suffer this problem) I have now uninstalled LO re-booted re-installed 4.0.4.2 re-tested, and it now works. Thanks for your support folks. it looks as if it may have been connected with the update from 4.0.3 to 4.0.4. Anyway - it's working ok now. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=66329 Julien Nabet changed: What|Removed |Added CC||serval2...@yahoo.fr --- Comment #4 from Julien Nabet --- on Win7 with LO 4.0.4 without any LO specific extensions installed, I don't reproduce this. Keith: - did you install any LO specific extensions or just LO 4.0.4? - what's your Java version? - did you use an existing file or a brand new file? If case 1, could you give a try with a brand new file? If you still reproduce this, I would try the raw method: - uninstall LO - remove any LO or OpenOffice remaining directories - clean your Windows registry with a free tool (eg: ccleaner) - install again -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 66329] EDITING: Crash on any attempt to use Paste Special
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=66329 --- Comment #3 from Keith M. --- I have reset the user profile according to the instructions (and confirmed that a new folder has now been created). The problem remains un-changed. Perhaps this is not surprising, because it is a brand-new installation (my first ever installation of LO, although I have used OpenOffice previously, and normally use MS office, all on this machine). Since it seems a very obvious and fundamental bug, I would guess that it is most likely new, or surely there would have been many previous reports. Does LO depend on any other features whose versions need to be checked? Thank you for looking into this.
