[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 89974] Context menu entry (in Styles and Formatting) to select all elements with the same style
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=89974 --- Comment #11 from Eyal Rozenberg --- (In reply to Patrick Smits from comment #9) > P.S. note how Microsoft combines paragraph and character styles in one pane > view, distinguishing between the two with the small paragraph and character > symbols. I've recently asked for this to be possible with bug 141593. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

I would also very much appreciate this feature. In addition to the use cases Patrick mentioned, this is also useful for clearing manual formatting from multiple instances; or clearing character styles which were set on some of the paragraphs; or just for seeing them selected. I'm mention it would be nice for this to be implemented for all kinds of styles: Paragraphs, character, frame, page etc; but even an implementation for part of the styles would be useful. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 89974] Context menu entry (in Styles and Formatting) to select all elements with the same style
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=89974 --- Comment #9 from Patrick Smits --- @Heiko I find this option especially useful when you receive files from third parties that need to be converted to a certain template. You can then copy the formatting and use this feature to adapt the text bit by bit to an existing template. What makes the feature in Word extra useful is that Word creates new styles on the fly and shows them in the Styles panel, as soon as you introduce a combination that doesn't yet exist. This makes cleaning up text very easy. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=89974 --- Comment #8 from Heiko Tietze --- Why not change the parent style? We inherit to all children (select the Hierarchical view) when you change the font to monospace, for example. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
