[Libreoffice-ux-advise] [Bug 104052] Add LibreColour HLC palette
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=104052 --- Comment #69 from V Stuart Foote--- Created attachment 129799 --> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=129799=edit the CIE HLC palette in charts by Hue spoke (In reply to Christoph Schäfer from comment #66) > Yes, please do this. I'd be very grateful. Thanks in advance for your > efforts! Attached is a suggested alternative layout in 12 columns with padding to present the CIE HLC sRGB palette in 36 charts by CIE Hue color wheel spokes. In essence the same layout as on the freieFarebe, e.V. color fan. To test, simply add the SOC palette to the share/palette directory and restart LibreOffice. If this layout is preferred, it can replace the traditional packed SOC version that was committed in master for 5.4.0 [1], and possibly be added for 5.3.1 if strongly preferred. @Christoph, I used sRGB values as you'd provided. But just to be sure, are we certain we do not want to instead use the sRGB values for each HLC swatch as listed on the color fan [2], so that we match the physical reference folks might use for their process printing? Keep also in mind that the visibility depend on > the zoom factor and that Writer is not a drawing application that needs > those guidance. > > In my opinion it is a WFM. Other opinions? The functional need for gridlines is nearly zero, I guess. But if the option is offered it should be useful in someway. And it isn't in my opinion. The fun of the zoomfactor is that it's working the other way around. The grid is only visible after zooming out out, and not zooming in ;-). It's only qualitatively inconsistent. But I don't mind setting it to WFM. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-ux-advise mailing list Libreoffice-ux-advise@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-ux-advise
