IR Printers
Date: Tue, 6 Jun 2000 09:07:32 +0100 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: IR Printers I'm looking for a printer to use via the infra red port on my Lib 50. Try as I might though, I cannot find a list of IR ready printers anywhere. Do any of you have any experiences of IR printing you'd like to share, or any printer recommendations? ** Legally privileged/Confidential Information may be contained in this message. CMOS Settings - Checking
Date: Tue, 6 Jun 2000 10:01:22 +0100 From: "George Waller" [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: CMOS Settings - Checking Can anyone advise what correct CMOS settings are for Lib 100CT and how I can check them? I was prompted to enquire having seen software utilities for other computers that apparently do this - implied that they can sometimes alter when other programs are installed - got that paranoid feeling as a result of reading that! Date: Tue, 6 Jun 2000 17:41:54 -0500 From: "Berlant, Michael S" [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RE: IR Printers Yes. The -50 and the -80 have the same print engine. The the difference is that the -50 has a battery and the -80 has a sheet feeder. That makes the -80 about US$100 less than the -50. My only reason for shying away from the -80 when I bought my -50 was that the sheet feeder in my -30 (which the -50 replaced) started misfeeding from being bounced around so much in my travels. -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Tuesday, June 06, 2000 3:31 PM To: Libretto Subject: Re: IR Printers i put my vote in for the cannon too. i have the bj80 and love it. 50 is much smaller if you don't need a paper tray. take it with me almost everywhere when i travel for business. kjw wilkerson consulting cedar rapids, iowa 52403 ** http://libretto.basiclink.com - Libretto mailing list http://libretto.basiclink.com/archive - Archives http://www.picante.com/~gtaylor/portable/faq.html - FAQ ---UNSUBSCRIBE--- mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?subject=cmd:unsubscribe UNSUBSCRIBE DIGEST-- Use above but add DIGEST to the subject line... **

I wonder what it's like running DOS based logging software for HF VFF NFDs etc. I run my '50 in the car with APRS on long drives, then take it out and develop software, design circuits, and route PC boards with it. I'll be running APRS and contact logging software with it this field day as well. I haven't tried anything in PSk or SSTV, I don't have a sound card for it that I can get working right. Perhaps I'll find a use for it! If not, I could find a home for it :) - -- Are you an ISP? Tired of spam? www.spamwhack.com A pre-emptive strike against spam!
