Otherwise, you won't have downloaded it to your HD for later offlined viewing; once acrobat reader is installed, you can left-click to view them directly in a web window, but it won't be downloaded to your HD. 2) www.adobe.com -> free adobe acrobat reader to open and view these *.pdf files. What is it? Basically a Postscript file that has been sanitized, organized, and prettied up to work right, then called a *.pdf file instead of a *.ps file. d =) ..also believe the free Ghostscript Postscript interpreter has a viewer option for PDF files as well... __ Do You Yahoo!? Adaptec.com for the 1460 SCSI card drivers that go with the sony cd-rom; www.sel.sony.com for the 650 specific drivers, if any. Basically, just do the DOS CD-ROM drivers thing for the Adaptec card and you ought to be up and running in no time. d =) = adorable toshiba libretto The latest news and information for the Toshiba Libretto owner. http://www.silverace.com/libretto/ __ Do You Yahoo!? L100CT & Sony PRD-650WN cd-rom

But now I am stuck. The hard drive has been wiped clean and my libretto will not recognize the cd-rom. Suggestions anyone? I'm guessing it should be possible because this cd-rom drive was recommended in the Libretto FAQ Thanks in advance! You get at it by holding down Esc while the machine starts up, then pressing F1 when prompted. Alternatively you can set this option from within Windows using the Power Saver utility. Double-click the lightbulb icon in the system tray - the setting you want is on the System tab. >Also, is there anyone with an electronic version of the user manual, say in >.pdf format? I was just going to add a PS to that last note saying I had only tried the 50ct with the AC power adaptor plugged into an inverter. The 50ct batteries were discharged when I tested it. So I guess the probelms is my DC to AC inverter. The one you mention above works pretty well huh? I'll look into it. Thanks a lot!
