   See history log on their site. Basically, just an updated version with
fixes & updated features.
Hmmm  Changes Log:
--
Changes:
New icon in System Tray. Now it displays CPU usage level for last 70
seconds.

CHANGES IN VERSION 3.1
The Fixed Bugs
PGPDisk problem
Changes
Algorithm of skins coordinates saving.
Method of resources clearing of the closed skins.
--
This gives the changes between Amn Refrigerator v3.1 and v3.2, which are
inconseqeuntial for my use. But I'm wondering if any features have been
added since my amnHLTv1.0 that would make switching to the new version
worthwhile.

I guess what it's doing actively as far as CPU idling hasn't changed, but
with the new version you get all of this data about the system:

Date;
Time;
Time after Windows boot (CPU time);
Total halts time;
Physical memory total;
Physical memory free;
Swap file total;
Swap file free;
Processor usage for last 200 seconds;
Time;
Time after Windows boot (CPU time);
Total halts time;

  I'm back to 97' on the Libretto Archives.  =)  Spend a =lot= on the L50/J I
bought directly from Japan. Oh, well. So much for that! The next one I
bought was the L110, and far cheaper at around $500, and that's served me well
for many years.

I use Debian GNU/Linux 'sarge' on mine, and certainly recommend it to
anyone. Sarge is not released yet, but almost finished, woody is
rather old. sarge installer is much nicer. Anyway I don't have any
media drives on mine, so I simply put the drive in a desktop with a
2.5" -> 3.5" IDE converter. Worked 'out of the box'.

Debian gives each release a name, not only a number.
so woody and sarge are releases of Debian.

I really didn't think it had been that long, but I posted on December 04,
1998. That's the farthest back I can find, but I'm sure there were earlier
ones.
Wish Dan's archives had a way to narrow searches like Mike's, then we could
compare and see if one has posts the other doesn't for whatever reason.

OUCH, dude. I ordered my 50CT from CDW sometime in 98, they were clearing
it out for around $600 from what I remember.
Wow... Online, or in stores?
Amazing what a few months will do. Then again, it was around double that
in cost the month before, before they clearanced it. I can't remember
where I found out about the clearance price, though.
Well, I don't mind paying what I did. It was love at 1st sight, and I would
almost have paid anything to call it mine. :-D That was well before I
learned where to find bargain too. Then, there was a practical aspect to
the purchase, as I was heading off to Mexico for several months, and the
Globalink Spanish translation software I had for a desktop proved very handy
trekking about with it installed on the little Libby.

Any suggestions on what card to buy?

Best are Prism2 PCMCIA. As Netgear MA401
But almost any card can fit.
SMC2635 is a cardbus and uses ADMtek driver
some cards use ATMEL driver.
5. Linux
Would like to put on Linux too.
Any distro's recommended?

I have now Debian Woody. But Mandrake is good and easy to install
Most everything works with Linux?

Framebuffer and Xfree 800x480,
APM, LCD_backlight utility
Flashcard PCMCIA adapter
FIR IRDA (4 Mb)
PCMCIA Floppy, but not for Redhat install
