Guys & Girls,

i have linux running smoothly on my lib thanks to you lot, however, i
thought that i would put windows in so that i can use my lib at work and at
home.

Everything worked with installing windows (95) by floppy, however, it now
tells me that i have an "A" drive and will not let me use the PCMCIA floppy
drive that it comes with. Can someone tell me what i have done wrong?

thanks

I would like to that all of you that helped me get Linux on to my CT70.
Works like a dream, however, i am unable to change the screen size to
anthing lower than 640x480 so a lot of programs run but i am unable to see
tha "apply" or the "ok" buttons as they fall off the screen.

Can someone point me in the right direction on how to set up the screen so i
can see all the windows and buttons.

I am using CT70 16mb 1.6gb(hd) mandrake 7.0

P.s you may have guessed i am new to Lunix.

Help.

Hi, I am having problems putting linux on my tosh 70ct.

I have seen lots of advice about using a pcmcia cd-rom but i cant seem to
get it to work. Have tried the following but with no luck.

Redhat 5.01 - copied disc to hd but keeps asking for supp disk.
Mandrake 7.0 - copied to hd but keeps asking for ramdisk then crashes.
Caldera 2.3 - copied to hd but says that tosh not supported.

Can anyone tell me how to get linux into my tosh.
