  That's ok. it was actually to the lilypond-user mailinglist. checking the 
archives is nice because you can often find a great response, but can do so 
faster.
  I'll admit that I've had a few times where color would have been good for 
school. I've heard that the program called Sibelius can do color but I 
haven't used the software. I already like lilypond's output better. I also 
found other ways to express everything clearly without color to get done what 
I needed to.

Well, isn't a good idea to color up fugues themes? Think to how much useful 
could it be for students and teachers... and it would be a feature other 
programs don't have

Uncommon feature: colors

One feature I always looked for in a score program was colored notes 
(unsuccesfully, of course).
It seems a stupid feature, but I think it could be very useful in fugues 
studying: with this technique you could highlight  subject, answers, 
countersubjects. Do you think this is possible to implement?
