Hi John, thank you so much for you help. But the solution - oh no - very simpel: lilypond-book needs obvoiusly the whole path: \input{/home/wome/LatexProjekte/klavierharmlehre/BuchI/preambel} So it works :-) Have a nice sunday Wolfgang 2009/3/7 Jonathan Kulp jonlancek...@gmail.com: Wolfgang Mechsner wrote: Hi, somehow lilypond-book doesn't work with an LaTeX-file with inclduded files. Re: Umlaute in \header
The mystery was indeed in the .emacs file. The following setting (standard-display-european t) (set-language-environment 'Latin-1) contradicted the utf-8 setting: (custom-set-variables ... '(current-language-environment UTF-8) '(default-input-method rfc1345) '(global-font-lock-mode t nil (font-lock)) ... Thank you a lot for your solution! Wolfgang. Am Donnerstag, 15. Dezember 2005 12:27 schrieb Mats Bengtsson: It's certainly no surprise that your problems started when you changed from 2.4 to 2.6, since in version 2.4 you could only use latin1 encoding (or plain ASCII), which means that LilyPond could only handle western European text, whereas in verson 2.6 you can only use UTF-8 encoding, which means that LilyPond can handle almost any language in the world. Maybe you have some setting in your .emacs file that prevents the multi-language support (MULE) to work correctly. For example, in my .emacs, I had a setting (setq-default enable-multibyte-characters nil) which prevented MULE from working correctly. Uncommenting that line solved the problem. An easy way to see if your .emacs is a problem is to run Emacs using 'emacs -q myfile.ly'. If you add the following lines to the end of your file, then Emacs will automatically use the correct UTF-8 encoding: %%% Local variables: %%% coding: utf-8 %%% End: /Mats Wolfgang Mechsner wrote: Indeed I use emacs in Linux. only tex output
I have problem only with one score. Everything was fine, I got PS- and PDF-files output after running lilypond. Suddenly - I don't no why - I got only tex-files. Any ideas? It would be great! Re: only tex output
I found the solution: I wrote a wrong pagenumber = no in the paper section! Wolfgang On Thu, 17 Jun 2004, Wolfgang Mechsner wrote: I have problem only with one score. Re: mup2ly problems
It is a bit embarrassing: I used mup2ly with the file extension *.mup. This caused the confusion. But thank you for your answering! Newbie problems with chordnames
1. In a piano score I would like to have the chordnames above the staff not below the staff. 2. I have no success with \set ChordNames.minimumVerticalExtent = #'(0 . 0) (tried out many numbers) to change the space of the chordnames to the staff. Hi, the setting of pagenumber = no has no effects. In the contrary: I get two numbers in top and the bottom of the site. Any ideas?
