I read that it is not uncommon for mothers to leave their babies alone for
some time and will eventually come back to retrieve them. Here's some info
about that:

Re: [LincolnTalk] Recommendations for builders (modern home renovation)

2023-06-12 Thread Tricia Thornton-Wells
Hi Fil,

We live in the crazy silo/church/castle house at 112 Trapelo Rd (iow, not your
traditional NE house). We added a new living room / kitchen with a challenging
new roofline, removed 2 fireplaces, added a in-law suite and added a 2-car
garage (among other things).

Nick Maynard did our architectural plans, and William (Bill) Malin is the
builder who brought it to life and managed all the work beautifully! We have
continued to use him on smaller interior projects as well. He is truly a great
guy and has loyal, excellent subs.

He has worked for several neighbors and in the general area, with many great
references.

Feel free to give him a call!

[LincolnTalk] Recommendations for builders (modern home renovation)

2023-06-12 Thread Fil Zembowicz
Hi!

We are planning to do a large renovation: moving the location of the
kitchen, adjusting rooflines, that kind of thing.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a builder they’ve worked with on a
similar project in a (post)modern home?

Looked through the archives and recommendations list but didn’t find much.
I’ve mostly found builders who specialize in the “traditional New England
home”, which ours is not :)

We’ve worked with fellow Lincolnite Nick Maynard on the architectural plans
which we are very happy with.

Thanks,
Fil

Re: [LincolnTalk] Community Center Building Committee Project Update June11, 2023

2023-06-12 Thread Sara Mattes
I am confused.

I thought the Spc.Town meeting vote charged the CCBC to develop options that
were 50% and 75% of the price tag of $25 million, and to look at other sites
for program locations.

“...to assist the CommunityCenter Building Committee in developing a range of
Community Center design choices and budgets, including options not to exceed
75%, and 50% pf the current project estimated cost of $25 million for the
Hartwell Complex supplemented or not with existing available town space with
the intention of presenting said choices at a fall, 2023 Special Town Meeting
for a vote on a preferred option;….”

Why is the CCBC now presenting “…3 required options (up to 100%, up to 75%, up
to 50%….”? (See below).

Where is the “requirement” of a 100% option?

How does this comport with the vote of a (packed) meeting?
How does this reflect the will of the town?

Perhpas I have missed something here.

See you tomorrow night.
