This would probably be better asked on the IBMVM mailing list, but I'm guessing
it has something to do with the topology/polarization settings on your z/VM
system.

Parked IFLs on zVM 6.3

2016-02-16 Thread Shumate, Scott
I'm running into something interesting and was wondering if anyone knows why?
I have added to IFLs to my CEC and brought them online. The CEC is currently
maxed out at 14 IFLs but IFLs 0E & 0F is parked. Why is the OS parking the
IFLs when they should be in use since the CEC is maxed out?

SHARE San Antionio 2016 - Request for Session Chairs

2016-02-16 Thread Crossno, Johnathan
Going into the home stretch and only SIX sessions left to cover! There are no
conflicts left with session times, so someone could pick them all up. If you've
been holding off to be the hero that jumps in at the last minute, now's the
time!

Are you going to SHARE San Antonio? Have you thought about volunteering a
little bit of your time to chair a session that you are probably going to
attend anyway? There are plenty of opportunities yet to be had. Are you going
to take one or more of those remaining sessions off the list?

Still interested? Review the sessions below, and reply to me at
johnathan.cros...@emc.com with those sessions
you'd like to volunteer to chair. Please include the session number, session
name, date, and time in your email (just copy/paste from the list below). Don't
wait to the last minute. It's first come first served!
