backing up mysql database (mysqldump)
Hi Friends, I am hosting my website on Servage.net, where I don't get SSH access. I need to run mysqldump in order to backup my mysql database to SQL format (I need the backup in SQL format). Is there a way to run mysqldump without using SSH access? Does phpmyadmin support this? They also have cron scripts enabled - can I put such a command in my cron job? Please help. All Hebrew posts I deleted - they were gibrish anyway. But my English blog is functioning, I also updated permalinks to include month and year. Thanks for your help! I only have backups of the table files in my old blog. I don't know how to create a working WordPress instance with these files. My server environment doesn't support it (it only supports restoring files from mysql dump). Any help? Uri. restoring a WordPress blog
