Yep, ISO 8859-8 codec indeed seems broken in 2.2.
Anyway, I hope the 2.2.2 release will contain a fix to turn Charsets
into Encodings in the Control Center panel, and to exclude ISO 8859-8
(in favor of ISO 8859-8-I).

Well, KDE 2.1.1 RPMS have started appearing on Mandrake's cooker and on
the 8.0 frozen branch, so I'll guess we'll see fully working 2.1.1 RPMs
for Mandrake within a couple of days.

 1. Thats KDE 2.1.1

 2. You won't see RPM's probably until next week. Bero (the guy who does those
RPM's) is at CeBit and he cannot make them.

 3. Are you talking about the bug that confuses the Hebrew and english on
konqueror? I doubt if this situation will change until QT 3 will be out with
KDE support to it. Lars (the guy who added the hebrew support) is extremly
busy on preparing QT-3 and an official beta should be out within few weeks...

Of course - patches to fix are more then welcome ;)

For 8.0 or for 7.2?

Their kde2.0 RPMs (that were labeled as "updates", and were out
when 7.2 was in beta) required updating of XFree, PAM, and a couple of
other essinatial components for 7.1 systems, besides qt and kde.

RPM's for Redhat will appear probably next week...

If they won't - then I'll make them and put them until that weekend (not this
one)

I'm just curious to know - do people want the RPM's for Redhat 6.x also?

Yep. There are still some people who prefer not to instarr RH7. I use
the RH6.x RPMs.
