This indicates that your rootfs has been found and mounted, but there is some
selinux issue,
are you trying to run with selinux disabled ? Try to set selinux to permissive
mode.

Hans, Technicall shouldnt it still work with out SELinux, as most stuff

I just come to the realization, since the image is being dd'ed, the
UUID's are identical and thus mounting 'may' go wrong?

formating disks and copying the files probably works better. I thought
the installer would fill fstab based on the UUID, but even if it does
that, they all have the same UUID's duh

I'm almost there

Mumbo Jumbo!

I dded your r3 image to my ssd; but booted from an (installed)
mmc; with only changing the root= parameter. I'll go read up on
SELinux ;)

[linux-sunxi] Fedora 19 from SATA

2014-01-09 Thread Oliver Schinagl

Hey Hans,

mind helping me find my fault please?

I can boot your Fedora r3 image fine from MMC, whilst running that I can
mount /dev/sda3 just fine and modify/copy files.

mmcblk0p3 makes the kernel wait forever for sata to be ready. The only

on the androidized sunxi kernel i get a little more ..

6ahci ahci.0: controller can't do PMP, turning off CAP_PMP
4ahci ahci.0: forcing PORTS_IMPL to 0x1
[0.720203] ahci ahci.0: forcing PORTS_IMPL to 0x1
6ahci ahci.0: AHCI 0001.0100 32 slots 1 ports 3 Gbps 0x1 impl platform
mode

6ahci ahci.0: flags: ncq sntf pm led clo only pio slum part ccc
6scsi0 : ahci_platform
6ata1: SATA max UDMA/133 mmio [mem 0x01c18000-0x01c18fff] port 0x100
irq 88

6ata1: SATA link down (SStatus 0 SControl 300)

but still won't boot from sda.

What bothers me though; both kernels and connections seem fine, as I can
use the disk just fine when booting from mmc. So what am I missing?
Something obvious?
