[linux-sunxi] Re: A20 NAND Issues
Wow it works, just needs couple of seconds to update Boot1. This is just perfect, I've just recompiled and updated boot1_nand.fex and I can see the new output :) Great app Steven! [linux-sunxi] Re: A20 NAND Issues
Hi Steven, It's been a while, but now I finally have time to test the app - I've just also posted that I've successfully compiled Boot1, so I guess your app could also help with this. I'll post back what I find out later today. [linux-sunxi] Re: A20 NAND Issues
Hi Steven, I've solved the issue by using PhoenixCard, which correctly updates the NAND with image you specify (in my case the one for Olimex A20 Olinuxino Micro). I had no idea that you were active here, otherwise I'd post the output. I'll probably try again tomorrow or on Friday so I can tell you exactly where it breaks (I remember that it said USB Resource Busy or similar), since I need to update several boards. It would be also quite useful for me that your program works, since I guess it takes much less time than PhoenixSuit or LiveSuit or PhoenixCard. It basically took only several seconds until it broke... However I've also tried with another board, not only PC (compiled it with arm-...-hf on the board itself) - it also didn't work for the same reason... Let me try one more time and I'll give you the exact output, then we can debug :) Cheers, Ivan -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "linux-sunxi" group. Have you tried the latest version (dated 2015-3-12) ? I changed some bits after problems loading a CubieBoard2 and also added options to force past errors. But some people report problems when using a PC. I did hit a problem when using a PC with a USB3 port. Maybe contact me via PM if you want to chase the issue. The "breaks somewhere" comment sounds like it dies when re-opening the USB connection for phase 2. Phase 2 is when the code gets downloaded and written.
