Greetings, The clearwater itself (se7501cw2), Tyan (s2723 I believe) Several of the Supermicro X5dpr and x5dpe It looks like the new Superio on the DPL is the real problem there. The trouble we've just found with the X5DAE is that something else is needed to enable SPD. It appears that it's not just the GPIO2 on the superio. I am hoping supermicro will tell me what. It's even possible that they're not using the Intel ICH4 for SMBUS at this point, but are using the superio; we just can't tell. ron ___ Linuxbios mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.clustermatic.org/mailman/listinfo/linuxbios
Re: ClearWater533 / Winbond Datasheet?
Adam, I found (using google) a datasheet here: http://isc.portwell.com.tw/support/Technical%20Spec%20%20Users%20Manual/datasheet/Winbond/83627hf.pdf that mentions -AW and -PW versions of the chip. The HF appears to have a 2KB programmable ROM for the 8042 controller; the -AW supposedly comes pre-programmed with has AMIKEY firmware and -PW with Pheonix Multikey firmware. Hope this helps, --Bob On Fri, Aug 08, 2003 at 04:11:43AM -0400, Adam Agnew wrote: I'm trying to get a Clearwater 533 board up (the SuperMicro X5DPL-IGM) without success. Therefore, I believe the problem is the Winbond SuperI/O. The product number is W83627HF-AW and perhaps that's somewhat different than the W83627HF. So my question is, does anyone know where a datasheet for W83627HF-AW can be found (it's not among those offered at winbond.com), know someone at winbond i could talk to, or have any further insights on the matter? - Adam Agnew ___ Linuxbios mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.clustermatic.org/mailman/listinfo/linuxbios ___ Linuxbios mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.clustermatic.org/mailman/listinfo/linuxbios
Re: ClearWater533 / Winbond Datasheet?
Did you have the same winbond with award firmware? I'd be interested to learn if you found a way to work through that.
