Re: [FLEAA] Battery Beach Burnout (re-send)

2008-12-18 Thread Robert Salem
Yes, the truck is in Ft Myers now and I will be there after Xmas,
before New Years.
Plan to stay till middle of March.(snow bird).

I was talking to the other Shawn (Lawless) today and he wants to lend
me his Lit pack, but 384 scares me.
Is Palm Beach International Raceway going to be open ??

When you do the accel.. runs can you do 60' times so they could be
compared to 1/8 & 1/4 time slips ??

Still having trouble with my connection to the EV list, so this is a resend.

Hello All,
Oregon Public Broadcasting (OPB) has a long running show called
"Oregon Field Guide".

On Thursday they first aired a episode titled "Electric Drag Racing"
and I have to say this is one of the best filmed and produced pieces
that I have seen! The show is primarily about John Wayland and the
White Zombie, but there are shots of Bill Dube' and Tim Brehm as
well. This is no average "news clip", it is nine minutes of well
produced documentary. I highly recommend seeing it.

It will be airing again Sunday at 6:30pm for those local to Oregon
who want to see it in full broadcast quality. Additionally it can be
viewed on the OPB web site here:
http://www.opb.org/programs/ofg/videos/view/56-Electric-Drag-Racing

Or by clicking on the episode in this shorter link:
http://www.opb.org/programs/ofg/episodes/view/2007

Have fun!
