[FLEAA] AC Propulsion Video
Hi Everyone, Here is an email I received from Tom Gage. Andrew --- Hi everyone, Here's an eBox video by Kristen Reeves. She did a great job. I guess if enough people watch it she wins! Please send it around. Thanks, Tom Gage Original Message Subject:Please WATCH to help me win! Date: Fri, 5 Dec 2008 18:53:42 -0800 From: Kristen Reeves [EMAIL PROTECTED] Hello everyone, My friend, Adam, and I have put together this piece on the company AC Propulsion, which turns gas cars to electric. We want to sell it to Current TV, but thanks to the economy, they are not buying random packages right now. You have to win the weekly contest. This is where all of you come in! If you could just click on the link below: http://current.com/items/89594878/ac_propulsion_making_gas_cars_electric.htm and pass this email on to everyone you know, it would be greatly appreciated. If you are a current.tv http://current.tv http://current.tv/ member or want to make an account, please VOTE UP. Thank you so much. Let's hope I win! We didn't make this for nothing! -- Kristen ___ Florida EAA mailing list listserv@floridaeaa.org http://www.floridaeaa.org
Re: [FLEAA] AC Propulsion BMS
Hi Joseph, There is nothing I can add to that, but I will let everyone know if I hear anything. Andrew -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Joseph T. Sent: Sunday, September 14, 2008 12:19 AM To: listserv@floridaeaa.org Subject: [FLEAA] AC Propulsion BMS On the EVDL someone mentioned that they talked to Tom Gage at the EV Rally in Palo Alto. According to him, Tom Gage said that the battery pack in the Tzero is dead now, But, on a positive note, he says Tom Gage mentioned making a BMS available that used 18650 batteries. Considering that there is a page under construction on the AC Propulsion website titled AC Propulsion Battery Monitors that seems quite possible. Does anyone, (particularly Andrew whom we all know has some connections with AC Propulsion) know anymore about this? ___ Florida EAA mailing list listserv@floridaeaa.org http://www.floridaeaa.org ___ Florida EAA mailing list listserv@floridaeaa.org http://www.floridaeaa.org

Re: [FLEAA] AC Propulsion Project
The Project Better Place cars are being made by a joint Renault-Nissan venture. According to their website, about 100 cars are being built for pilot trials in Israel. In addition, some number of cars are presently in use in Denmark, as part of a project to demonstrate the use of wind energy to generate the required electricity The CEO of Nissan has stated that Nissan intends to resell the cars globally, including the USA, by 2012 or sooner.
