I replaced the ones that came on the instrument when I bought it used,
that was 6 years ago.  Not playing it much these days tho.

graduated, this is not my preference, it is what the neck angle requires. 
Each insturment will be different as to what it needs.

That explain why my nylon frets are s (can't write that word here)  
but it's just a fishing wire...


Well, I think I'm going to refret and restring my 7c with some of the  
new frets and strings i boguht for it (in May...)


I really like to try gut strings, but the weather here in israel is  
sssos (different word, still can't write)  and it screws up  
everything. But I think I will try it...one day.

My oldest frets are 25 years old, the newest ones are a few months old.
They downscale one size per fret.
But on older instruments that have come up a bit in the action you 
can go to one size per fret as a way to put of reregulation.
They wear out faster if you chew on them.
