RH6.1 TeX breaks lyx?
I just updated my base apckages to Redhat 6.1 packages. And now, my lyx is hopelessly broken. Since I totally fail to see why a rpm --upgrade ought to break the setup, I have sent this to support at redhat, as a bug in RH 6.1. Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it. A life without LyX - impossible :) Nils
Bug with table dialog in 1.0.4
By the way, there's a bug in the 1.0.4 LyX. It goes like so: Right-Click on a tabe to bring up the table dialog. Click on "destroy table". Or is it delete? Anyway, that button, yes. Click it again to confirm. The table will be removed, but the dialog window for the table will remain, with a "flickering" 'Width'-Field. it will prevent any action in LyX and basically freeze up LyX. LyX needs to be kill'ed. I dunno if this is a known bug (it seems to be too obvious not to be noticed) but I figure, it can't hurt to send it in. (You won't die because of the bandwidth this mail will eat up. Right? ;) Best wishes, Nils

Did this change some time, like was the recommendation "downgraded", or did I indeed grab the wrong tarball? Lyx aborted... (maybe a bug, but minor anyway)
Hello People, I have managed to grab the cvs 1.1.1 tree - Password "cvs" worked, don't ask me, why it didn't work a week ago. I didn't do anything differently. It seems to run pretty well so far - it compiled clenly, and the only Problem I found is the following. I am sorry it's not a very detailed description, I seem to have caused it without knowing what I did. I accidentally hit a keycombination consisting of shift, ctrl, and win95 keys on the left side fo the keyboard, as well as x, y, and/or the key that has <, > and | on it. Lyx then closed - all I got on the console I started it from is: [1]+ Aborted /usr/software/lyxcvs/lyx-devel/src/lyx Is there a key combination there somewhere that should close LyX? I tried to reproduce the event, but I seem to be unable to do so... Not a big deal it seems, but I wonder. Best wishes, Nils
