2007-06-11 Thread Stefan Schimanski

it looks like the cursor is very rapidly put inside the inset and back
outside. If I have the math panel toolbar opened (in auto mode), it
flashes
up shortly and disappears again. Also, the math inset itself
flashes and
something (which I cannot identify) pops up shortly. This is when I
move the
cursor with the arrow keys. Note, however, that I'm totally RTL
ignorant, so

I have no idea about how the cursor movement should be naturally.

Can you make a bug report about this flashing?

It seems to improve the situation (besides the crash, which is gone also
without your patch), but I still get some flashing effects when trying the
testcase of bug 2446 (screen flickering whenever I move the cursor in the
math inset with the keyboard).

Which kind of flashing?! What is flashing? The whole bufferview? The
math? Don't see any like that here.

And btw, I checked again: the crash is there without the patch.

I tried yesterday (without your patch) and I couldn't reproduce, so I thought
it was cured by your Bidi work.
