By using Gnome libraries it is easier for me to write the code since there are several useful classes (widgets) which you will find in Gnome libraries only. In addition, using the Gnome libraries allows me to add some nice small features to dialogs which are not there in Xforms frontend. For example, history in the dialog entry box (it remembers your last 10 inputs).
