Hmm, maybe I am incorrect in assuming that there is a .cls for linuxdoc.
Maybe it is something else as it seems that linuxdoc uses sgml...

LinuxDoc

1999-11-15 Thread Andy Bradford

I realize that I may be slightly off topic asking about a cls for LaTeX but
could anyone give me some pointers as to where I can find a .cls for the
LinuxDoc documentclass?
Thanks.

little bug?

1999-11-15 Thread jdd

seems to have a little bug in lyx 1.04 (sorry, I don't yet upgrade). may
be already corrected.

example :
one uses figures, then want to switche to floats figures. Try to create
fugure float and then cut and paste figure in it. So far so good, but
impossible to get the caption under the figure.

To get this one must create the figure float and insert (not paste) the
figure from disk.

Note also that use of the last line of the figure windows (in french
"sous-figure" and "titre") gives cryptic latex errors. But the use of this
line is cryptic by itself...

thanks for all

note also than the support for .gif files should be great. For now, I must
scan in windows (// scan, not linux supported :-(), edit *.gif in gimp,
translate in ps with xv (gimp refuses to save or read xv ps files, very
xwell used by lyx) and insert in lyx... :-)

place of \closing text in letter with babel & francais

1999-11-15 Thread Nabil Hathout

Hello,

I have some trouble with the letter document class (with language =
francais (not french)). It is type-setted just like a signature. Is it a
bug of babel ? Besides, the \location text is not displayed.

Thank you for your help.

--Nabil Hathout

PS. I'am trying to move from french to francais because the later is no
longer part of teTeX.

Pb with bullet shapes

1999-11-15 Thread Francois Beaubert

Does anybody try to use the bullet shapes popup with the language of the
document set to frenchb?

The popup works fine but I could not force latex to use the bullet
shapes I have specified in this popup.
It seem's that the package frenchb override the bullet shapes I have
juste define in the document layout -> Bullet shapes option.
The frenchb package use always it's default bullet shapes (
\normalfont\bfseries{--})

This work great with the language of the document set to default.
Any idea?
