Re: Endnote number size/position

2012-10-22 Thread Maria Gouskova
Thanks, Richard--example file attached! It works when everything in
the preamble is commented out, but the endnote numbers appear as
superscripts in the Notes section (which is not what I want; I need
them to be on the main line in normal size, followed by periods and
then the note text).

Graphics preview in Lyx gives

2012-10-22 Thread Roey Angel
Hi,
When I add a pdf figure into lyx the preview works only for the current session.
When I restart Lyx I get an error: "Error loading file into memory". This only
seems to occur with pdf files (i.e. not with .svg or .png) and has no effect on
the final rendered PDF.

I've seen references to this bug in several places online but in those case the
issue was that previews were never generated. Also, I have pdf2ps and pdftoeps
installed so this shouldn't be the problem either.

Running Kubuntu 12.04; Lyx 2.04

 However, whenever I try to

Dear all,

I'm using lyx2.0 in mac and trying to install revtex4-1 use it for an article in
APS. I put all the concerned files (class, style and layout) in concerned
folders, did the sudo texhash in Terminal, and reconfigure in lyx. Everything
seems to go ok without any problem.

But as I go to the Lyx -> Documents-> setting, I do not find the "article
(revtex4-1)".

Can anybody help?

Thanks.
Prem

Import Latex vs AMS Layout

2012-10-22 Thread Rahayu

I enjoy working with LyX very much,
however I have to exchange .tex files with my colleagues,
because Latex is the common format for them.
So I export my work in LyX to .tex format, however when I get my
file back, and I need to import the .tex file to LyX again,
it doesn't recognize the Theorem and appear in
ERT or latex box, which is so inconvenient.

Anyone could help please?
