Re: Boxing eqnarray
Hello Paul, Thanks for the reply, but I am afraid I do not know how to do that! Could you please guide me? Thanks On Fri 27 Apr 2012 01:27:00 AM EEST, Paul A. Remove parts from a class (e.g; Elsevier)
I'd like to ask if it is possible to remove any embedded parts of a particular class. For example, in the Document class: article(Elsevier), the output displays "Preprint submitted to Elsevier" at the lower left of the first page. I wrote two documents using that class, but now I have set my default to AMS's (still experimenting). Thanks -- Sincerely Yours, -Merhebi, Bob Thunderbird Signature

Re: Labels
Hello Richard, Yes inded; I just realized I can choose "sort" & "Group" to sort them. thanks On Thu 15 Mar 2012 05:06:59 AM EET, Richard Heck wrote: > On 03/14/2012 05:02 PM, Merhebi, Bob wrote: >> Hello, >> >> Just a simple question: Is there a way to keep figures, sections& >> subsctions"labels" separate? >> > By default, LyX uses different prefixes for these: fig, sec, sub. > >> I am asking this since it is quite annoying to search for a label in the >> cross reference window!!! >> > Try sorting them. > > Richard > -- Sincerely Yours, -El Merehbi, Ibrahim (Bob) Thunderbird Signature
Re: numbering multi-line formulas
Hello again, I believe I didn't clear it out well. I meant a shortcut for the "eqnarray" not the equation numbering. The default of your stated functions are: math-number-line-toggle: Alt+M Shift+N math-number-toggle: Alt+M N both of which do the same thing; I already use the second one for numbering. Note: LyX 2.0.3 on Ubuntu 10.04 Thanks again On Fri 13 Apr 2012 07:24:59 PM EEST, David L.
