Linguistics tone
Dear all, I am going to type an article about IPA. The default setting of LyX automatically use the package tipa without the option tone. Is there anyway for me to use the tone macro or reuse the package with option tone ? Using handwriting fonts
Hi, I would like to use the font la for cursive font, as in http://www.tug.dk/FontCatalogue/la/ However, when I use \la I got the following error: Font T1/la/m/n/10=la14 at 7.14279pt not loadable: Metric (TFM) file not found I am using MikTeX and all packages are installed throught the Package Manager. What should I do to use this font? Thanks, ami -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean. Admin by Eternalit Co. Ltd.
Re: Using handwriting fonts
I think that would be enough. You won't see on screen, but the pdf should be generated with this font. I did put these two in the preamble, what I get is the error message below when generating the pdf. Font T1/la/m/n/10=la14 at 7.14279pt not loadable: Metric (TFM) file not found Thanks, ami - Original Message - From: Julio Rojas jcredbe...@gmail.com To: Wu Kai Chiu, ami wuke...@eternalit.com Cc: lyx-users@lists.lyx.org Sent: Tuesday, September 08, 2009 12:10 AM Subject: Re: Using handwriting fonts In the preamble add the following lines: \usepackage[T1]{fontenc} \usepackage{la} I think that would be enough. Numbering
Hi all, I am trying to use AMS Theorem (By Section) and its related modules, I have a big problem in the display of the counter. The theorems are numbered correctly, say Chapter 1 Section 2 the first theorem is numbered 1.2.1 However, how can I set it to display only 2.1 rather than 1.2.1? Also, in using the modules numbered (By Chapter), can I choose not to display the chapter number?
