Mission accomplished: Lyx can't print in pdf
Dear Everyone, Thank Thomas for a good suggestion. I used Foxit Reader as a pdf viewer. Now I change back to Adobe Reader and I work perfectly. I don't know why. May be Foxit was too compact (about 3 mb) hence lack some functionality as Adobe reader (about 70mb). Anyway, I post it here as it may be useful information for anyone who use foxit and have similar problem like me. Lyx can't print in pdf
Hello everyone, I have a little trouble of printing from pdf file created by Lyx. When I print the following error message appear "ioerror OFFENDING COMMAND: imagemask" Luckily, it still print ok from dvi or ps format. Does anyone have any hint for such problem? Thank for any help, Son

If you are on Linux, install the tetex package, if you are on Windows or Mac, try one of the installers at ftp://ftp.lyx.org/pub/lyx/bin/1.4.4/ or ftp://ftp.lyx.org/pub/lyx/bin/1.4.3/ If you already have installed a TeX system, make sure that your PATH environment variable is correctly set, or add the path to the latex executable in the "PATH prefix" field in Preferences->Paths. Can't print
Would you please guide me in the right direction? I downloaded lyx, and installed everything on it. My problem is that I do not have any TeX classes. Am I suppose to make them as I go along? (or ctrl-P) and then setting the destination to a file? The problem is that LyX is not wrapping the destination string in quotes, so spaces in the destination bugger the process. From the "and", I'm guessing that your destination is somewhere in, say, "My Documents" (whose full path is C:\Documents and Settings\"). I'm going to file a bug report. Meanwhile, the work-around is to specify a space-free path (for instance, C:\temp\filename or C:\windows\temp\filename). /Paul Paul, That was the issue!
