Re: REVTeX 4.1 Class Behavior Inquiry

 1. The diamond/line separating the references from the remainder of the
document spans both columns when I would expect it to span one.

This seems to be true only for papers prepared for prl, not prb.

 2. The "Electronic Addess" for the author appears in a footnote on the
second (last?) page, not the first.

I don't think this has anything to do with LyX, it's just how revtex
class behaves. You can see many examples of it on arXiv.
APS, if I remember correctly, uses some other software to produce
printed papers.

REVTeX 4.1 Class Behavior Inquiry

2016-04-18 Thread Joel Kulesza
Sorry if you're seeing this a second time; however, it appears to me as
though it was never processed/received by the list. I've omitted the
example files this time in case that caused the problem.

Original text below.

I'm currently using the REVTeX (v. 4.1) document class within LyX 2.2.0rc1
on OSX 10.11.4 with custom behavior "12pt,aps.prb,reprint,twocolumn". A
couple strange behaviors I'm seeing that I wonder if anyone else
experienced:

   1. The diamond/line separating the references from the remainder of the
document spans both columns when I would expect it to span one.
   2. The "Electronic Addess" for the author appears in a footnote on the
second (last?) page, not the first.

Example in the attached. Thoughts on how to make this "more like" the
actual paper format?

Thank you,
Joel
