Try deleting parts, and see if you still get the weird text. Keep doing that until you delete something that causes it to reappear. You should be able, in this way, to localize the problem. For some reason, LyX thinks the languages of the two documents are different. (They are both set to the system Default.) Fortunately, the underlining can be turned off in Preferences ? Language Settings.
