having trouble changing the default font in text edit.
Hi all, I am having problems changing the font in Text edit. I know how to change it in a document. I can't seem to change the default font. Re: having trouble changing the default font in text edit.
Hello Linda, To change the default font, open TextEdit and open the preferences (Cmd-Comma). Select the Rich Text radio button. Navigate right to Rich text font and click the Change button to the right. The Fonts palette will open and you can use VO-Cmd-t to get to the first table where you select the collection (I normally leave this on All). Then go right to select your font and right again to set the size. Hide the Fonts palette with Cmd-t and close the preferences with Cmd-w. Your default font should be changed. Adding and Removing Items from Menu extras
Hi: I need to remove the PPP modem Menu extra and add the one for my User. I've read how to do this in the Mac but can't replicate it with VO. To add the User I'm to locate the folder and double click the item. I assume it means to open it. I do and it puts me in the extras but doesn't add the item. To remove one it says to press command and drag it to the desktop. Nothing seems to happen when I press Command and try to drag the item. So I haven't been able to accomplish either task.
