I don't have that app. I have Tap Tap See! Would that do it or not?
Otherwise, I'll get this other one.

Thanks,

Do you have the VisWiz app?
Point it at the fields, and maybe the fields can be read by someone.
The password should show up as asterisks, so don't worry about someone
seeing your password.

Subject: problem with an Apple ID

Hello y'all,

I've got a problem with an Apple ID. I'll try and explain. I tried to
create an Apple ID on an iPod Touch Fifth Generation. I didn't want it the
same as my iPhone5's ID, because this is going to a friend of mine.

Face time settings accepted what I had for an Apple ID. So, did
Messaging. But it's the App Store. Here I thought last night that I had
everything filled out correctly. So, when I went to install some apps on her
iPod, I got:

Your Apple ID is not correct. There are some fields that need to be filled
in. These fields are in red."

Well, guess what? I can't see what's in red, so no go here. What do I do
now? Can you delete an Apple ID and start all over?

Take care.

Oops! One more question. How do we keept he iPod from syncing with my
phone's stuff when we go on to iTunes when it is connected to my computer?
Runnign a Windows Xp Pro Computer.

Thanks in advance,

Brenda

Apple Fusion drive and boot camp

2013-08-14 Thread Mary Otten
I'm looking at a new Mac Mini to replace my 4-year-old one in time for
Mavericks this fall. I also have a Windows machine that needs replacing, and I
would like to just have one machine, not two. Yes, I still need Windows for
some things. But here is the question. I understand that the magic in the
fusion drive is all in OSX, i.e. if I run bootcamp and a duel boot system,
Windows won't know anything about the fusion drive as such. Does anybody know
if it is even possible to put a duel boot system on a machine with one of these
fusion drives? I wouldn't expect the Windows side to even see the flash drive
part of the set up. I'd be happy if the OSX side got 500GB of the mechanical
drive and the 128gb of the flash storage, and leave the other 500gb for the
bootcamp partition. Is that possible?

go to the app store and navigate to the button called account. Now press it and
under the purchased heading, go to see all. Under that you should after
clicking the link see not on this computer and all after choosing the type of
content, music, movies, etc. all of this is int he iTunes store btw. I know
they changed the web page so if not I'll have a look and see as I just did this
not too long ago to retrieve some lost content and apps.

Good luck.

Seeking Reminder; [How To?]

2013-08-14 Thread Mrs. Lynnette Annabel Smith
Hello everybody

We recently lost a lot of files, including almost our entire movies collection
bought from iTunes. I’m pretty miffed about this, not so much for my own sake,
but for Gordon’s. He has lost some of the movies he enjoys watching over again
now and then. Is there a way to recover these movies using the iTunes store?

I seem to remember there was a search option within the store where you could
search for purchased items not present on your computer but I cannot see it any
longer.

Thank you.

Re: Setting a Shortcut Key in Mail

2013-08-14 Thread Bryan Jones
Hi Sarah,

Here's one method I've used in the past. Note that this seems hit-or-miss and
there might be a more reliable method I don't know about.

The following method works for me under Mountain Lion. The following
instructions assume you have Mail.app open in Mountain Lion, your Favorites Bar
is showing and already contains the items you want to rearrange, and that your
screen and VO cursors are both zoomd all the way out (Command+Option+hyphen
keys to zoom out the screen magnification, VO+Shift+Left Brace to zoom out VO
cursor magnification.) I'm not sure why zoom is important, but I did find
references online where folks were having trouble with VO drag & drop in
general, and it was mentioned that the items to be drug (dragged? drugged?)
must be visible on screen during the process.
1. Interact with Mail's Favorites Bar.
2. Move the VO cursor to the mailbox item you wish to rearrange.
3. Press and hold the VO+Spacebar key combo. In my case, VO doesn't seem to
give any audible feeback that something is happening at this point
4. Use the right and left arrow keys while continuing to hold down the
VO+Spacebar to move the mailbox left and right on the Favorites Bar. In my
case, I hear the drag & drop scraping sound after each press of the arrow keys,
and VO announces the name of the mailbox the cursor is passing. In addition, it
seems as if VO announces the name of the mailbox I'm dragging as it reaches
each possible insertion point.
5. When you've arrived at your desired insertion point, release the spacebar.
At this point, VO simply tells me "Favorites bar" but if I navigate left and
right I hear the mailboxes in their new order.
6. If I want to remove an item from the Favorites Bar, I use the same steps but
in step 4 I continue to arrow left all the way until VO announces "Hide Mailbox
List." I then release the spacebar whereupon VO makes a brief "whoosh" sound
which I presume is supposed to indicate that the item has been tossed off of
the Favorites Bar. Note that this process didn't work if the mailbox list
wasn't displayed, in other words, if you arrow all the way to the left and VO
announces "Show mailbox list." In that case you might need to make sure the
mailbox list is showing before you try this procedure.

Note that there were a few times when pressing VO+Spacebar+arrow keys did not
seem to do anything. In those cases I stopped interacting with the Favorites
Bar and then interacted with it again and the process started working.

HTH,
Bryan

Re: Question about MySXM in the SiriusXM App

2013-08-14 Thread Geoff Waaler
Hi Orin,

I am reposting a couple paragraphs from my previous paragraph. The first
confirms your observation (IE that that method only works once), and the second
describes the method that will bring up the customization dialog every time.

Best regards -- old text follows.

As a channel is playing, there are two buttons just below the status bar on the
right edge. The right most button located just below the battery indicator
acts as a toggle between normal and MySXM mode, or if the playing channel was
not previously customized, one can use that button to specify options.

Whether a channel has been customized or not, one can set options by using the
button just to the left of the live/MYSXM toggle labeled "Action header
myEnable"". From there, select "customize". The resulting window presents
several options, such as:

As the Mac Access Dot Net administrators, we do our very best to ensure that
the Mac-Access E-Mal list remains malware, spyware, Trojan, virus and
worm-free. However, this should in no way replace your own security strategy.
We assume neither liability nor responsibility should something unpredictable
happen.
