Re: [Mac-access]: question about mail app.

2015-01-25 Thread David Griffith
It sounds like you are in Classic View, which I personally have never
like and I have always preferred the standard modern view which will
deliver what you want.

In standard modern view as you simply cursor down the message list,
with the default preview turned on, the message sender subject and the
first five lines of the email is automatically read out for you. This
is enough for me to normally decide if I need to press the delete key
without even having to open the message.

In fact I can normally rely upon Preview rather than having to open messages
I think I may have set preview up to read the maximum as I really like
this feature and find it a time saver.

As I say
you do not have to listen to all of it just press delete or continue
cursoing down to next message.

If I need to read the whole message I press VO J to read it and then VO
J to jump back to the message and continue cursoring down.

Since Yosemite you sometines have to press VO J 3 times on the first
message you try to read.

The only real problem I have with Mail is the lack of a page down
function for navigating long text emails.

I have installed DarkIce and IceCast on my RPI, and I am in the process of

I plan on using my iPhone as one of my devices for listening.
My question here is, what are some apps for finding media on my LAN?
Thanks.

In Mail preferences under view there is a check box for classic view.

If you check this you are in classic view.
If you uncheck it you will be in the default modern view.

2015-01-25 Thread Harmony Neil
Hellow friends,
I've got a focus 14 blue braille display here and it's not oo bad. Just a
couple of questions really:
Firstly, i've made a command (C chord) to close a window, but it does nothing
except bring up a close window dialog. Does anyone know how to fix this?
And second, am I able to use the braille display to show computer braille?
Just I've tried it both using contracted and uncontracted braille, but it still
shows the symbols etc as spelled out words rather than the symbols.
Thanks for any help,
Harmony.

As the Mac Access Dot Net administrators, we always strive to ensure that the
Mac-Access E-Mal list remains malware, spyware, Trojan, virus and worm-free.
However, this should in no way replace your own security strategy. We assume
neither liability nor responsibility should something unpredictable happen.
