Don't this message just because things look a little different from the

Re: Be ware of the Tune-in update.

2014-05-08 Thread Tim Emmons
It is definitely a beautiful thing. I did get Tune-in to work, but I still
have been gravitating more and more towards Radium because of that fact that
you can use it on everything, and they listen. Not only to accessibility but
bugs, and station requests. Now, if they had a database like Tune-In then it
would seal the deal totally for me, but just the fact alone that they do Sirius
Xm which I'm a subscriber too and have been for years, is enough to have sold
me on the mac first, and when it hit the phone I automatically jumped on that
because I new it was a solid product and I've not been wrong about it yet. It's
awesome and I can't say enough about it, and they let me run it at work, so
that's a big deal too, Lol. I guess because of it's small footprint and the
fact it can run in the tray in the notification center without a lot of hassle
makes a big difference, but, anyway, I digress. Enough of my rambling coffee
calls and so does that thing, work, Lol. But glad you like
it too. Yell if you need anything. I'm on Skype at work now too so I'm
reachable, Lol. Take care and talk to you soon.

Radium is another radio app made by Catpig Studios. it's a paid app for the
iPhone that you can also get for the Mac (a paid app there as well but your
stations can sync across) that does online radio, as well as Sirius Xm and
other subscription services. They're really good about adding stations and
paying attention to their user base as far as accessibility with their app
goes. I love OOTunes, but the developer hasn't updated it in a while, so not
sure what's up there but I'm liking Radum more and more because I can use it on
both my desktop and my phone and all my favorites are right there. Not sure if
you use a mac or not but the phone app is nice Take a look. Hope that helps.

Re: Be ware of the Tune-in update.

2014-05-07 Thread Matthew Carello
I love how you don’t even have to go to the window to do much with Radium. The
key commands are so awesome. This is for the mac version grin.

other subscription services. They're really good about adding stations and
paying attention to their user base as far as accessibility with their app
goes. I love OOTunes, but the developer hasn't updated it in a while, so not
sure what's up there but I'm liking Radum more and more because I can use it
on both my desktop and my phone and all my favorites are right there. Not
sure if you use a mac or not but the phone app is nice Take a look. Hope
 that helps.

 Greetings y'all,

Not sure whether this is applicable to the free version, but today's
upgrade to TuneInRadio Pro 6.0 succeeded in rendering this app
completely unusable on my 5S running IOS 7.1.1. It will open and play
the last station that I had on, but I can not play any other stations.
I tried selecting from my list of favorites and browsing them with the
same result (or lack there of). The pass-through (doubleTapHold
gesture) does not appear to expose a menu. If there is a way to play a
different station i've not yet discovered it. I haven't tried
reinstalling TuneIn because I don't want to trash my favorites. If
others are having more success with version 6, that will be my next step.

 Best regards.

Hey guys, with Tune In you can get live sporting events, like Hockey etc. Can I
get that with Radium too? I'm thinking about buying it.
