If you open terminal, you can cd .trash (without the quotes of course) then rm any file you like. Of course, if you want a file to go bye-bye without going in the trash at all, you can rm full/path/to/ file replacing full/path/to/file with the location and file you'd like to remove if it is in the current folder, then a simple rm file will do the job. Of course, the usual disclaimers apply here, and it won't delete files you don't have permission to delete without being root. hth. Actually 1 step was omitted. 1. go to the doc. 2. go to the very end with vo shift end (vo shift fn end on the laptop) and look for trash. 2. hit enter. 3. search for what items you want to remove and right click and hit remove. If you hit cmd delete you will restore the files back to their original location. Take care. You won’t. You can restore the file back to its original location and in looking at the menu I don’t either. so I guess there is no way to delete individual files unless you restore them back to their original location. I can’t remember if there is a way to bypass the trash for a file, but I would not do that eithe run case I goof up and end up saying things that would not sound good out of my mouth lol! Take care.
