2014-03-29 Thread Sarah k Alawami
They disabled the bug tracker from new members joining. about 8 or so months
ago. What I would do is join their forums and report it there. go to
skype.com then help and support, or a link labeled something like it then
community and sign in with your skype credentials.

Hi,

The problem is with Skype for osx not ios. Just trying to clear up some
confusion. BTW, does anyone know how to report a bug for Skype so that I can
report this to them any way? I looked on the Skype web site and could not find
a way to do this.

Re: Hi all, Skype and vo problem and info from apple accessiblity

2014-03-28 Thread Deb Lewis
I’m not having any focus problems. I just downloaded the new update. I do
notice that I have to interact with the contacts table now whereas before I was
able to just arrow up and down in it without interacting. That’s too bad really
but technically it’s the Apple way so not much to do about that probably. But
otherwise I haven’t noticed any focus problems so far.

Hello,

Thank you for your email. As you described the issue, it sounds like
the contact list may not be releasing VoiceOver focus correctly when
you leave that window. We recommend that you contact Skype and
provide them with this feedback so they can verify they are using the
accessibility frameworks correctly.

We will also forward this on to our Developer Relations group to see
if they can reach out to the developers at Skype and assist them.

RE: Hi all, I am having problems wuith an external drive not working on my Mac.Whe pluged in nothing happens. I hav tried several cables withthe same results. Any ideas? Thanks.

2013-04-14 Thread David Griffith
You could ask somebody to take it out of the enclosure and try plugging it
in to another enclosure or even using it internally in a computer.
If it is a Mac formatted drive this would have to be a Mac.

I have managed to recover the use of two drives doing this . Unfortunately
on both occasions in my case a reformat was necessary and so whilst I
recovered the use of the drives I lost the data on them. I have heard of
other people having more luck.

If the data is precious there are data recovery firms but I believe this is
an expensive option to use and would not be normally advised unless
completely essential.

Hi Matthew,
By the sound of things, the drive may actually be dead. That is not
something I like to say, but it looks very likely at this point. Have you
another computer you can try plugging it into? If not, I'm afraid you might
be out of luck.
Wish I had better news,

Hi Matthew,
By the sound of things, the drive may actually be dead. That is not something I
like to say, but it looks very likely at this point. Have you another computer
you can try plugging it into? If not, I'm afraid you might be out of luck.
Wish I had better news,
Zack.

Hi Zack,

My drive usually gets power from the computer. I had been using this drive for
at least a year before it just stopped working a few days ago. It is a 500 fb
my passport drive which has my iTunes lyvrary on it.

Thanks. HTH

Hi Matthew,
FYI, the entire message you wanted to send was put into the subject line, and
thus a bit confusing. Make sure you're actually typing that into the body in
future.
That being said, without more information it's hard to help you. Is the drive
turned on, or does it not need to be? Is it plugged into power, or does it get
that from the computer? Have you used it before?
In short, please give us more info so we can help. :)
Yours,
Zack.
