Re: iPhone 5c versus 5s
I have the five s and compared to the 4s it's quicker for sure. I find the 5s loads things up instantly and is a lot faster than the 4s I have not really played with a 5c so can't comment. I'd go for the faster processor though and go for the 5s. iPhone 5c versus 5s
Hello, Many thanks for the many replies on this subject. You have all persuaded me that the extra cost of the iPhone 5s is well worthwhile. Many thanks again. iPhone 5c versus 5s
Hello, I have had an iPhone 3GS 16GB for some time and am now considering upgrading to an iPhone 5c or 5s both 16GB. the 3GS does not support IOS 7 and some of my Apps which were upgraded to IOS 7 no longer work on IOS 6. supp9oort no lA What are the differences between the 5c and the 5s other than the case and the price? Does the 5c support the new finger print unlock mechanism? Why might I consider the 5s rather than the cheaper 5c? Many thanks in anticipation of your advice. Re: iPhone 5c versus 5s
No the 5c does not support the fingerprint technology only the 5s does. Re: iPhone 5c versus 5s
Hi! The 5C is exactly the same as the 5 in processing power though the colour may be different and its made from plastic instead of metal. As I recall you're in Australia right? I know the pricing of the 5C and the 5S in Australia and there's not all that much difference in the pricing when all said and done and - given that the 5S is a phone with much more power - I'd be inclined to forget about the 5C completely and get the 5S. Re: iPhone 5c versus 5s
Hi Paul. I have the 5s, but I have heard from people who have the 5c that it seems a bit sluggish, the speaker doesn't sound as good, it's possibly slightly heavier in weight, it doesn't support the fingerpring sensor, it has older architecture processor. So for the sake of 80 quid difference, I would go for the 5s. Hope this helps? Re: iPhone 5c versus 5s
Hello Paul, Well the 5S has a 64bit processor. Which is taking mobile activity to a new higher level. Whether it will make it easier for VO users, I'm not sure. Certainly, benchmark tests suggest it is a lot faster. But if there are benefits to us, I don't know. Certainly, it seems logical to me if you are using apps like look tell, tap tap see, O C R apps etc. The faster processor and better camera on the 5S will be a worthy long term investment. You need to ask yourself. What do I currently use a phone for? What might I use a phone for in the future? Gena Georgina Joyce Applied Psychologist Training and Coaching.
