If anything like that happens again it helps to put the item in a bag of rice overnight. That should help remove any moisture. What part does not work? Does the audio work without a headphone? I would try bluetooth until it dries out. In this humid weather, it may take a while to dry out. If it does not get too warm, they could put it in a food dehydrator.
