Re: Anyone ever serviced an Emac?
Hey tim and thanks for the reply. The units don't make the chime sound and I can't here anything come to life internally. The cd drive has both its power and ide cables connected but I can't seem to find a ide cable for the harddrive so i'm assuming that that has also been removed however I see a spare power connector that would fit the harddrive. Based on this and on what you saying about the powrer button, would you say that these units quite lightly have broken logic boards? Again, thanks for the reply. Re: daisy player for IPhone
Sorry. The text to speech and gesture recognition require faster hardware which is currently only in the iPhone 3GS. Many expect a similar bump to the iPod touch this fall which implies the accessibility software will then work there as well. CB Jane Jordan (Gmail) wrote: That reminds me of something. Will, tell ya what, e-mail accessibil...@apple.com and hit them with the idea. I encourage you and anyone else to do so and explain the benefits etc. I have done this and the more folks that ask, the more likely it will be given consideration. Hey, it would be the first truly mainstream product on the market. I realize we are a minority, but you know with a little help, it is possible someone could develop an application to run on the iPhone or iPod Touch. I'm not saying Apple has to do it all, but for the purposes of authorizing the device, it may require a little help on Apple's part, but not entirely sure. Anything is possible.
