Hi dear friend.
It is a Canon LIDE 120. In Italy it costs about 70.00 Euro.
It's flat, light, and it needs some software to run under MacOS. This
software is not included within the box but the Canon's website is easy
and quick to surf and there is all you need to download.

Gabriel.

Re: Regarding download speeds from external HD and other stuff with new MBP

2015-05-22 Thread Shaf
You really shouldn't be booting from an external drive unless you really
have to.

Download speeds probably have something to do with your external HD speed.
Regarding freezing, I don't know but it could be a corrupted sector on
your external drive.

In regards to download speeds, is it because I’m booted from my external HD and

Jason,

Comments on Word you can insert with no problems. I have not yet tested it, but
I suspect you could set up a hot spot to monitor the tab that is open for
comments to detect the presence of a comment in the document.

I have not tested track changes in word. As you have already posted that you
have the pre-release version.

Keep the posts coming.

try to put your Xcode window in full-screen mode (Ctrl+Cmd+F). this speeds up

 Hi,

I'm trying to give XCode a try again. I didn't have this problem when I used
it with Mountain Lion a couple of years ago. However, Voiceover gets stuck
and keeps saying busy. Only way is to quit XCode and rerun.
It happens so frequently that it makes it impossible to navigate to different
 parts of screen.
 I'm using XCode 6.3.2 on Yosemite 10.10.3.
Does anyone have this problem? Is there a workaround for this?
 Thanks,

How to view email messages individually on the Mac.

2015-05-22 Thread sadam ahmed
Hi all,

Windering if someone can help with the following quiry.

I would like to view my Mail messages individually rather than in threaded
conversations.

This is the way I have things setup when I’m working with email on the iPhone
and find it very efficientt.

How can I accomplish the same task in OS X?

Version 10.10.3 and Mail 8.2 ( 2058).

Any suggestions or help is appreciated.

Yours respectfully,

Re: How to view email messages individually on the Mac.

2015-05-22 Thread Bill Gallik
Hi all;

If I may, I’d like to offer another solution presented in this thread.

As some of you may know, the first column in the “Messages Table” is a
“Disclosure Triangle.” If you focus on that field in any given line, selecting
the right arrow () will expand the thread so each message in the line appears
as a “stand alone” message — still sorted according to the conversation
parameter. The one problem here is that I don’t know of any way to recognize
an “unopened thread” as such. But if you suspect a mubject to be one of a
number of messages in a thread, selecting “” in the “Disclosure Triangle” will
expand that particular thread.

Conversely, should you choose to delete an entire thread in one fell swoop,
simply use the ““ character on the Disclosure Triangle” to contract all
messages in that into a single entry in the table and then COMMAND+DELETE
will get that job done.

2015-05-22 Thread Bill Gallik
Excuse me, but I made an error in my prior message on this thread.

Rather than using the “” and ““ characters on a “Disclosure Triangle,” use
the COMMAND+OPTION+SPACE to toggle a thread between expanded and collapsed.

My apologies for any inconvenience my initial post may have caused!
