Sorry, but there’s nowhere to edit the server host names or the port numbers,

Subject Before From in Mail

2019-10-26 Thread kelly ford
Hi,

For large lists such as this, I prefer to use the conversation view. I think
the answer is no, but is there any method of configuring mail settings such
that you can have the subject before the long list of who has sent messages in
the conversation when it is collapsed. This can sometimes be 10 or more names.

Re: Capslock and VMWare Fusion

2019-10-26 Thread kelly ford
Hi,

Thank you for the detailed replies here. This all mirrors what I thought I
would have to do but I was hoping something might have changed. I will try
this all.

In the short term, I am using a bluetooth keyboard with a numeric keypad and
issuing the Windows screen reader commands from there is working well.

Beyond that, Fusion is working well to run multiple Windows VMs.

RE: Two factor authentication

2019-10-26 Thread M. Taylor
Hello Petrus,

You ask a very good question the answer to which is, no.

Two-factor authentication is an account modification so once done, on any
device, it is done for all devices.

>From now on, when you login to your account, you will be required to enter a
>security code.

Sometimes after setting up 2-factor, you will receive a message on your Mac
that you need to login to your account in order to take advantage of all
features.

Should this happen, just login and if you are already logged-in, then log-out
and then log back in.

Mark

Re: enable or disable Voiceover in Ipod Shuffle

2019-10-26 Thread CHUCK REICHEL
Hi Ramy,
OK.
Heres a quick way of doing this.
Split the audio coming from your ipod in to 2 separate channels of your mixer.
When you want to browse for your next track just mute the channel going to your
main pa,.
Turn on VO.
The other half of your audio split in to your mixer should be only assigned to
your head set where only you can hear VoiceOver while selecting your next track.
now turn off VO, an un mute your main assignment to your main pa and sing away!
:)

Its a bit convoluted but it should work!

The Authy authorisation app on IOS

2019-10-26 Thread Paul Hopewell
Hello,
I am trying to use the free Authy App on my iPhone 8 running IOS 13.1.3 to do
2 factor authentication for web site login, initially for Paypal. Does anyone
use this with VO? I am not clear on how Authy works from the user viewpoint and
what to expect when it is set up.
My motivation is better security and ability to recover 2 FA web sites if my
iPhone is lost or stolen or fails to work.
Many thanks for any tips …. Paul Hopewell
