FaceTime Login On Apple Watch 5th Gen Cellular

2021-01-11 Thread Georges Zaynoun
Each time I power up my Apple Watch I am prompted to login into my
Apple account to be able to use FaceTime. When I double-tap I get a
selection of Braille button, Scribble button, Continuity Keyboard
button and a language button, there is also a Done button and a Cancel
button and I cannot figure out for the life of me how to type on this
watch. The prompt disappears if I select any of these, please assist, I
tried to locate FaceTime among the programs on this watch but it is not there.

Well, this would be aioplay-2 and I don't think a mac can receive this. Do you
have any smart TV's? they might be able to receive airplay-2. -

Airplaying iPad screen to Mac?

2021-01-11 Thread Traci Duncan
Hi all, I was just doing some Googling, and it looks like there is no way to
airplay my iPad screen to my Mac without a third party app. Is this correct?

There is sidecar where the iPad could be a second screen, but I don’t believe I
can have it mirror onto my Mac.

I wanted to airplay the Xfinity Stream app to my Mac’s larger screen.

Thanks,
Traci

I tried to open it, but nothing seems to happen.
I can’t delete it because its running, but it is not in activity monitor, or

And its not showing in force quit.

battery issues with my MacBook Pro 2020?

2021-01-11 Thread maurice mines
Good morning everyone, here's my situation unfortunately for some reason
whenever my MacBook Pro is on battery the machine apparently appears to
not go to's and stays powered on thus draining the battery rapidly. My
machine when I first got it, up until about a week ago was able to sleep
all night and only lose about maybe 2 to 3% of the total battery
capacity. But for some reason this last week or so whenever I shut the
lid on my machine and called it a night, the machine remains quite warm
in the battery drains at a high rate. I called Apple twice about this
and been transferred to the disability support area. How can I demand
that they leave me with the normal support since the issue has nothing
to do with voiceover? Any ideas? And what do people think could be
causing the problem?

Please note that the above statements, and or issued be discussed is me
discussing this personally. My comments above nothing to do with the
national Federation of the blind, or the national Federation of the
blind deaf blind division. Note number two please be aware that the text
of this email has been dictated to the computer by means of dictation

the Mac. The company withdrew their Mac product two years ago. If

Re: Flash card app?

2021-01-11 Thread Brandon Olivares
If you’re OK with just iPhone, Flashcards Deluxe is the best app I’ve found. It
syncs with Dropbox, has simple text import via tab-separated values, supports
spaced repetition, and is really easy to use. The apps author is very
responsive as well.

I’ve never found an accessible flashcards app for the Mac. Anki is useless
unfortunately, which is what most people use.

Tips on navigating App Store Big Sur

2021-01-11 Thread Traci Duncan
Ugh, I find navigation in Big Sur a pain in many respects. Any tips on better
navigation in the App Store? I may be searching for an app, then as I’m trying
to navigate the annoying collections, focus is snatched away by discovery. I
don’t know how to return to my search, without searching again.

Help is much appreciated.

Thanks,
