2021-11-08 Thread Herbie Allen
It’s my understanding that you will have to use VM as Bootcamp does not have
the Secure Boot mode required for Windows 11.

question about iCloud mail?

2021-11-08 Thread maurice mines
Good afternoon everyone, I have a strange situation. I am of course
writing this on my MacBook Pro 13 inch 2020. But because of a additional
disability, a written expression disorder. I have to dictate everything
I write into Windows. This presents a problem. If I want to read, and/or
respond to anything in my iCloud mail and its email address variance, I
must write the document in word for instance and then copy it into the
email that I've started on the Mac side of my computer. So the question
is simply this, if I download iCloud for Windows will that allow me
access to my email account in something other than Microsoft outlook for
Windows. Has anyone had experience with this? Or should I continue doing
this the way that I am doing it presently. Which is quite cumbersome.
Any thoughts?

Just be aware that I am dictating this to the computer using dictation
software. Although every effort has been made to weed out errors. There
is no way to make dictation be 100% correct. So if there's something
written about that you really didn't understand please reach out to me
and asked me what you thought I might've meant I will be happy to help
clear up any misunderstandings that may arise from the dictated text
thank you very much for reading this.

buying and downloading Amazon music on a Mac

2021-11-08 Thread Lorie McCloud
I was finally able to find the album I was looking for on Amazon. I typed in
the title of the album instead of the artist. so after I bought it I ran into
the download problem. there ussed to be a download link on the order details
page. it's not there any more. I called the number for mp3 help that I gave out
here earlier and it doesn't work any more. so then I called the disability
number. the CS rep. tried to walk me through the process but she eventually
transferred me to somebody she called an expert who had no understanding of
screen readers. here's my current understanding of the situation. now we're
supposed to download from the cloudplayer. I went up there, clicked on
"library" but it's exceedingly inaccessible up there. I could never get to
"Purchases" at all. it's supposed to be there but I never could find it. she
sent me an email so I could send feedback to the developers.

Re: buying and downloading Amazon music on a Mac

2021-11-08 Thread Barry Hadder
Hi Lorie,

After you click library, click albums. Find the table and interact with it.
Move vo to the album, rout the mouse to vo and mouse click. Now find the table
containing the tracks. you will not be able to interact with it, but there is
a heading just above it containing an unlabeled button. Interact with the
heading and Press the button to open a menu and select download.

You may have more luck with the desktop client I mentioned earlier. It’s not
very good either, but it is a little easier than the web page.

I've done some of those things before but this time I can't even get to albums
or. purchased or anything like that. it keeps putting me back in prime music. I
did download the desktop client but nothing's there when I open the installer.
I'll play with it some more later.

Re: buying and downloading Amazon music on a Mac

2021-11-08 Thread Karen Lewellen

hi,
A slight idea, if the item is already in your history.
Granted I am not using your tools, but sometimes visiting either
m.amazon.com
or
www.amazon.com/accessability
Will lead you to a less layered edition of the page.
That might in turn give you access via the order history section of the
site, to your album.

Just a thought,
Karen
