Sadly it's not working out for me on Text Edit. I have tried all the 
options that you suggested.
Also, I don't want to open the document in a web brouzer. This is because I 
want to have the option of editing it if required.

I have large Word files from my Windows computer. These files take a lot of time loading on Mac when I open them on Word.


With Pages and Text Edit, I am facing a strange problem. I prefer to read paragraph by paragraph. But whenever Voiceover encounters a page break, it starts reading character by character.


I have taking this issue to Apple Accessibility and they have not been able to help.

As I told you, it’s not happening on my end. You had sent me a sample book 
and I am not experiencing that in Text Edit. It happens in Pages and Word for 
me, but not in Text Edit.

My Word documents are 300 to 400 pages long. Can anyone please advise?
