Re: Reading app-specific passwords on the Apple-id page
Hi Simon and all, You only need this if you need to access your iCloud information via non-Apple apps such as Microsoft Outlook. That is my understanding anyway. Hopefully more people can chime in here. Re: Reading app-specific passwords on the Apple-id page
It is in the security section when logged into your Apple-ID. You need to generate an app-specific password if you want to connect a third-party app such as Outlook to your iCloud account. Nothing is sent. You need to read the password on the web page in the security section on your Apple-id page. You then need to copy that password over to Outlook and insert it into the account setup page there. Hope this makes it more clear. Reading app-specific passwords on the Apple-id page
Hello, I can’t figure out how how to read and copy an app specific password that I created to put into Outlook for Windows. I click on the Show History link, or that is the Danish text translated into English since I am in Denmark. I get the time and the label for when I created the password, but wwhen I click on it, I can’t find the password to copy. I am using JAWS with GoogleChrome. Anybody had success doing that? Thanks in advance. Daniel -- The following information is important for all members of the Mac Visionaries list. Chrome for Mac OS: How do I select text
Hi, Does anyone know how to select text from a web page in GoogleChrome for MAC? I am on the latest Canary build and still can’t get it to work. I tried with the Up and Down Arrow keys as well as VO+Enter to start VoiceOver text selection. Thanks a lot for any input as to what I am doing wrong. Getting to subfolders in Pages
Hi, I am using the latest version of Pages under OS 10.10.2. When trying to save a document I can't get to the lowest level of subfolders on the system. The top-level folders such as iCloud and Documents show up but the browser with the subfolders isn't there. So, anyone knows how to get further down to save the document in a subfolder in Pages? That worked. I am impressed. Thanks a lot. Den 29-01-2015 kl. 21:24 skrev Matthew Dierckens: Hi, so when you hit CMD f5, you said you get a ingle beep?
