Hi, Bill I have a Mac so I may consider downloading Check Book pro. I used to use deluxe checking for my print sheets but they are not affiliated with Bank of America any more. A friend of ours was able to provide me with checks that are the full size of a full sheet of paper so this may work. I don’t write out very many cchecks but I do write out some and would like to do it privately as I have been doing. Re: Thinking of Downgrading Back to iPhone 8 Because of Lack of Touch ID - Finding Face ID not as Efficient and Slower
Hi, Tim, I was looking at some responses to the face-id dilemma. I had someone from Apple Support help me reset my face-id and it worked. However, i tried to unlock it several times with no success. Is there a certain way I should be holding my phone to make it work? iI have my attention features off and am just confused. Trouble with Online Banking from Bank of America
Hi, The Bank of America changed its site a few months ago. I first started paying bills with Google Chrome and used it for other things. Now Google Chrome is acting weird and not even showing me the links that I need to use to get to things. Last night I made Internet Explorer my default browser and tried to pay my bills three different times. I tried it on another computer today and when I got to Make Payments, it took me out of the payments section. When I called the bank,, they said that all of my payments registered and went through. However, I should be able to see whether the payments went through myself so that I could copy down the confirmation number. Should I delete Google Chrome as a browser? I really don’t want to do that but the app nhas become unresponsive. When I talked to the person at the bank today she said my payments had gone through on Microsoft Edge. Any clarificaiton would be appreciated. Mary Jo Partyka choir...@gmail.com -- The following information is important for all members of the Mac Visionaries list. Problems with Proper Files Not Selecting
Hi, Usually when I want to send an attachment, I press the vo return key to select what I want to send and press vo f6 to make sure the correct document has been selected. I tried selecting something tonight and when I press vo f6 my home folder is selected. I can’t deselect it or get the correct document to select. This may have been brought on by my attempt to add music to my itunes library. Now everything has in my home folder and even though I know they belong in the music folder, I can’t move them. First it asked me for a password which I don’t have and then it selected my home folder to move. I do’t know what I’m doing wrong but things are messed up. Is there an easy way to fix this Itunes problem, also? I added some songs to my library but have no idea what’s there or how to get the rest of my music up there and in the right place. Any help wuld be appreciated, the simpler the explanaiton, the better. Thanks you. Re: Seeking Recommendations for Check Writing Software
Hi, The way Talking Checkbook worked was that we had to order a box of check forms which contained our account number and other identifying information. After putting one of these fors in the printer, we would go to the talking checkbook program and press control n to write a new check. The fields would be spoken aloud and you would fill them in. After the fields are filled in, you can print the check. Hi, Tim, I didn’t rename the document in the finder and maybe that was part of the problem. I gave it a different name but I didn’t do it until after i finished the new document. Two Questions
I had to write a few letters today. I wrote the first one and wanted to use some of the same language in the next two. I duplicated the first document and saved it under the same name. Maybe I should have saved it under the new name right away but I didn’t rename it until I wrote it and found out that I could rename with the ellipsis. I couldn’t read the original file after I renamed it. Also, I emailed these letters to three different politicians and they all came back. I copied the information verbatim so I know the spelling and form were correct. I used the shift hyphen to underline and the shift 2 for the at sign but think one of these signs might have been incorrectly used. I was able to email everything by cutting and pasting but I’m trying to find out what I did wrong. Re: osx 10.10
Hi, I also liked the Sharp Talking Time and still have one. But I understand why companies discontinue selling these products because the market is so limited. That's why the Optacons are no longer available unless you are lucky enough to have one, like I am. Making them was probably expensive and not many people learned how to use them.
